Fiber cement siding is the newest, and in our opinion, the best type of siding in the market today. It is durable, low maintenance, and a certified green product.

Contrary to vinyl siding that could crack when impacted in cold weather, fiber cement siding is durable in all weather conditions. It is finished and installed like wood siding but generally comes primed or prefinished. Additionally, wood rot, insect damage, and maintenance headaches are not issues for fiber cement siding. Also, fiber cement siding is woodpecker-proof. For homes in the mountains with posible fire danger, fiber cement siding is the ideal choice because it is noncombustible.

Fiber cement siding is a medium-priced product, but the lifetime costs, once the installation is complete, are very minimal, with painting required very infrequently.
